@HEALTH is a community of European and Latin American research organisations, industries and public administrations interested in eHealth technologies, innovation and applications.
This community favours the dissemination of existing eHealth technologies and practices in Europe and Latin America tailored to local needs and standards, as well as to specific research actions that will lead to the development of scalable, flexible and usable technologies.
Using the @HEALTH web portal you will have the opportunity of sharing eHealth related knowledge with people and organizations from different countries with different cultures and technical background, encouraging the cooperation in R&D initiatives and the economical growth of the eHealth sector in Europe and Latin America.

@HEALTH Last News04/23/2008: New funding opportunities for collaboration EU-LAM
The European Commission has recently published three interesting funding opportunities to promote the collaboration between European and Latin American regions. The opportunities are related to different sectors depending of the objectives of the programmes; in particular the call for proposal are: URB-AL III to contribute to increasing the degree of social and territorial cohesion within local and regional entities in Latin America; the programme ALFA III to encourage the co-operation between higher education institutions of EU and LAM countries; and the programme AL-INVEST IV an economic co-operation programme that aims to support the internationalisation of SMEs in Latin America in collaboration with their European partners to reinforce social cohesion in the region. 03/10/2008: LAC-ACCESS: Travel grants for LAM researchers
With the idea to facilitate contacts and the creation of collaboration projects in the frame of FP7, the LAC-ACCESS project offers travel grants to Latin American researchers to participate to Conferences taking place in the EU and concerning the six priority areas: Health, Food, Agriculture and Biotechnology, Information and Communication Technology, Energy, Environment, Economic Sciences, Social and Human Sciences. The aim of this grant scheme is to facilitate LAM researchers’ access to specialized conferences, to promote exchange between them and European researchers as well as to encourage contacts between institutions so that they may explore possibilities for joint participation in the FP7.
